For our Client in Cook County, we are seeking Speech-Language Pathologists who want to make a profound difference in the lives of students by empowering them to succeed and achieve their dreams.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
- Conduct intake assessments.
- Maintain accurately and organized client notes, data, and reports.
- Design and provide direct treatment to clients in one-on-one or group contexts.
- Exercise judgment on best assessment tools to utilize in treatment planning for clients and develop well-rounded treatment programs.
- Collaborate with a team of behavior technicians and BCBAs to exchange, discuss and evaluate the information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
- Instruct family member(s) and members of the team in methods of assisting the client in improving communication skills.
- Re-evaluate client’s progress and the established treatment program as often as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of one (1) year as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an urban public or charter school setting is preferred.
- Professional Educators License (PEL) endorsement (Type 73).
- State of IL SLP License.
