Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Possess a special education credential- Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate & Moderate/Severe. Must be EL compliant. Possess the ability to work effectively with children, school personnel, and community agency personnel.
Primary Function: Provide an individualized, functional educational program based upon assessment of individual students for a class of developmentally disabled students.
Secondary Function: Help parents to understand the problems of the severely handicapped student and how to cope with these problems.
- Specialist Instruction in Special Education - Severely Handicapped (Moderate / Severe)
- Specialist Instruction in Special Education - Physically Handicapped (Mild / Moderate)
