Job Summary
In order for KVUSD to make a proper determination regarding your fitness for our position, we ask that you attach copies of ALL transcripts. We cannot make determinations based solely on your transcripts from your 4-year universities. We also request that you attach all documentation pertaining to your qualifications, such as teaching credentials, CBEST results, CSET results, EL authorizations, etc. Your application may not be considered if we don't receive all of the requested documents. Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Possess a special education credential- Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate & Moderate/Severe. Must be EL compliant. Possess the ability to work effectively with children, school personnel, and community agency personnel.
Primary Function: Provide an individualized, functional educational program based upon assessment of individual students for a class of developmentally disabled students.
Secondary Function: Help parents to understand the problems of the severely handicapped student and how to cope with these problems.
