Specialty Systems Apprentice

The Specialty Systems Apprentice - Level 2 is responsible for Specialty Systems installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Enrollment in the appropriate Electronic Systems Technician Apprenticeship Training Program - Level 2
Travel: 60-75%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs all the job duties of a Specialty Systems Apprentice-Level 1.
• Travels to customer premises to install, troubleshoot, and maintain Specialty Systems (to include, but is not limited to, copper/fiber structured cabling, outside plant, CATV, CCTV, WLAN, fire alarm, access control, security, audio, etc.).
• Terminates voice and data system cabling.
• Performs cable testing.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on various Specialty Systems.
• Lays out cable pathways.
• Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite.
• Maintains compliance with company policies.
• Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.
• Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and jobsite.
• Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
