Madelia Health is looking to add a Full TimeSpecialty Nurse Coordinator to our Specialty Clinic in Madelia!

Position Summary: The Specialty Nurse Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of Specialty Clinic Services as well as provide direct patient care for the patients of our specialty and outreach providers.

Qualifications:

• RN -Bachelor degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year clinic experience and/or ambulatory surgery experience
• BLS certification
• Leadership/Supervision experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Process improvement knowledge/experience

Responsibilities:

• General clinic duties of intake, rooming tasks, assisting providers as needed
• Coordination of schedules with surgery
• Maintaining/ordering of supplies
• Supervise Specialty Nurses
• Daily communication with Clinic Manager
• Work collaboratively with the surgery department to ensure smooth patient transitions from clinic to surgery
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures related to specialty services.
• Assist specialty providers with Cerner functionality
• Ability to work at the top of licensure alongside a variety of providers.
• Other duties assigned

Location: Madelia, MN

Schedule: Full Time

Hours/Pay Period: 80 hours, 1.0 FTE

Schedule Details: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm with no weekends, holidays, or call. Hours may vary based on the operating hours of the clinic.
