Responsible, supportive work providing spiritual and emotional care to patients, families and staff of Swedish Health Services. Liaison between patients/families and community clergy as needed. Supports the needs of the Palliative care team and provides palliative care for hospital and ambulatory patients as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of 4 units of CPE or equivalent degree.
- Ordination or commissioning for chaplaincy.
- Endorsement by ecclesial body for chaplaincy.
- Required upon hire: National Chaplain Certification
- Three years in ministry.
- One year in medical setting with palliative care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of 4 units of M. Div or equivalent degree.
