Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Supplier Registration Specialist within our Supplier Registration team based in Midland, TX or Houston, TX.
Essential Job Duties:
Monitor, organize and prioritize vendor master tickets and new supplier request in the Vendor Master Team Site, Ariba and SAP.
Coordinate new Supplier Registration & onboarding, which includes the following:
o Engage suppliers to verify supplier information records (Supplier Registration Form) and notify supplier of onboarding status,
o Facilitate supplier pre-qualification (Security & Legal),
o Liaise with AP Vendor Admin, Supplier Enablement, Security, HES, and Legal for setting supplier up in the system for purchasing and payment transactions.
o Interface with supplier community
Coordinate existing supplier enablement (Ariba) set-up in liaison with AP Vendor Admin and Supplier Enablement Team.
Manage and prioritize Ariba tasks (Verify Supplier Enrollment) in accordance with process.
Manage and prioritize supplier merge cases - working closely with AP Vendor Admin, Supplier and Buyer to expedite mergers and name changes in the system
Manage Integrated Supply Helpdesk call line for supplier and internal customer support
Facilitate the communication between AP, Legal and contract owner regarding factoring. Provide process guidance and instruction to contract owners accordingly
Coordinate supplier harmonization efforts across the Oxy and Anadarko supplier communities.
Manage supplier insurance records and compliance in ISNetworld.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication skills to interface effectively across functions, and appropriately with various levels of seniority
Excellent customer service & complaint management
Excellent proficiency in time management and ability to assess and assign priorities accurately
Ability to adapt and provide continued support to customers through change and uncertainty
Experience and working knowledge of company ERP system / data repository
Ability to learn new systems / processes / applications timeously
Ability to display judgement and make decisions independently
Strong understanding and application of company policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management or related field
Familiarity with Oxy's systems and organizational environment
