The Marketing Specialist will support the development & implementation of the Go-To-Market plans and aid in creation, testing & optimization of the Content Curriculum. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Content, driving day-to-day execution of the Content Strategy. The Specialist will coordinate with multiple channel leads including social, digital & broadcast media, email, loyalty, and website. This role will help track and communicate timelines to ensure campaigns and projects are completed on schedule. This role is also a contact for external partners and vendors, helping to facilitate feedback and manage workflow. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams including Merchandising and Events and maintaining a Marketing Planning Calendar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Collaborate with Marketing channel owners to maintain a Marketing Planning Calendar.
- Work with SEO partners, writers, and developers to create and optimize blog content, helping to build a best-in-class content library.
- Partner with Marketing Operations team on execution of Go-To-Market plans.
- Support messaging and in-store/online execution of promotional strategy.
- Partner with merchandising and events team to ensure Marketing is meeting the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with creative team on seasonal photography.
- Work within project management software to help organize and prioritize content requests.
- Help prepare and refine PowerPoint presentations for seasonal cross-functional alignments.
- Work with website team to maintain content for landing pages and make optimization recommendations based on results.
- Work within dashboards to report on results of seasonal campaigns.
- Work with agency partners and vendors to help manage projects for Content Strategy team.
- Partner with Insights team to help incorporate research into Go-To-Market planning.
- Provide industry competitive research and reporting.
- Proactively coordinate daily tasks and facilitate regular and clear communication with internal departments & 3rd parties.
- Help maintain team budget, process invoices, and help with vendor set-up.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-4 years' marketing or agency experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: None.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Demonstrated skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong Communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to identify proper word usage, grammatical and spelling errors
