Job description

The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning’s mission is to improve the quality of teaching, learning, and childcare. We research, develop, and scale equitable educational innovations for adults and children that put all learners on trajectories for lifelong success. Specifically, the Center targets kindergarten readiness, 3rd grade reading proficiency, and algebra proficiency as critical milestones in children's educational trajectory that are predictive of success in school and life. Responsibilities:
Learning Services: Enrollment

  • Flamingo learning system user registration and enrollment
  • Track enrollment. Sections, modality, numbers, instructor, facilitators/coaches
  • Create pacing calendars for courses
  • Create project plans, including timelines and milestones.
  • Collect and organize rosters for Flamingo courses
  • Enroll Flamingo participants or send invitations to account creation and enrollment
  • Track and assign communities of practice or coaching to participants within Flamingo; update as needed
  • Monitor multiple/sequential enrollments and make withdrawals as needed
  • Review late enrollment requests, determine placements, and enroll or coordinate with the support team to communicate the resolution of requests
  • Monitor and implement withdrawals
  • Add instructors, facilitators, coaches, and assessors to Flamingo and their respective courses/groups
  • Communicate with course users and state partners on enrollment needs
  • Flamingo learning system user registration and enrollment

Other Data Tracking and Reporting

  • Track and verify course certifications for stipend distribution
  • Coordinate with project leads - to determine and coordinate other data needs
  • Researches, analyzes, and seeks resources for the resolution of issues that impede project progress
  • Track Mastery and withdrawal rates
  • Distribute, collect, and review personnel guidelines for IACET compliance
  • Use Flamingo reports and data to create supporting documentation for contract deliverables and invoicing
  • Maintain and update enrollment, registration tracking and dashboards to include but not limited to sections, modalities, registration numbers, instructors, facilitators, and coaches

Professional Development Registration, Certificate Creation and Distribution

  • Set up and monitor registration for communities of practice institutes, TA coaching institutes, and communities of practice and coaching calibration sessions, and other professional development opportunities
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Communicate with participants about registrations
  • Meets with customers to determine customer expectations regarding the project.
  • Prepare pre-populated sign-in sheets for face-to-face training
  • Verification of attendance for face-to-face and virtual training and submission of training certificates
  • Maintain certificates and CEUs calculations for IACET compliance
  • Contract compliance receipt and review of documentation [sign-in sheets or zoom reports, reflections, gains surveys], scan, upload to file storage

Lastinger Center for Learning supports and promotes a healthy work-life balance. To achieve this, the Lastinger Center offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule that aligns with the university’s Flexibility in the Workplace Policy. Allowing employees to stagger arrival and departure times as necessary and to vary the number of workdays in the office so long as an employee’s FTE commitment is fulfilled within the university workweek. This policy also allows for occasional, incidental remote work based on individual circumstances.



Expected Salary:

$48,000 - $55,000



Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Experience in coordinated services position
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills preferred
  • Ability to visualize project management to team members using digital methods
