We are seeking an experienced and talented Special Inspectorto join our Southern California team for our San Diego office. This position is non-exempt.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper and complete files for:
  • field and laboratory data
  • daily reports
  • letters
  • RFI's
  • Other pertinent field data
• Effectively communicate with the Project Manager and client representatives as required

Qualifications:

• 2-10 years of experience
• Ability to understand current code requirements
• Strong understanding of the standards related to the construction and inspection
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Must have your own vehicle to be able to go off-road on undeveloped property

Preferred Certifications:

• ICC Commercial Building
• ICC Fireproofing
• ICC Masonry
• ICC Prestressed Concrete
• ICC Reinforced Concrete
• ICC Soils
• ICC Structural Steel Bolting (S1)
• ICC Structural Steel and Welding (S2)
• AWS/CWI Welding
