Position Summary
To serve our external customers by providing direction to Special Events employees and executing set-ups at Special Events (e.g. fairs, festivals) according to established company standards in order to increase company sales and profits.
Essential Functions
- Schedules employees and coordinates daily deliveries; leads and provides direction to Special Events teams at all Special Events in order to maximize productivity and maintain budgeted hours.
- Cleans, prepares and repairs all equipment according to established standards (e.g. sets shelves); ensures equipment is clean, operating correctly and meets all established standards (e.g. operational equipment, updated graphics, proper installation, clean equipment and work area).
- Issues invoices and credits for events; reviews paperwork with customers and collects payments.
- Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, AIBI And Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment.
- Communicated with customers and Pepsi management on issues regarding equipment, products, opportunities and problems that arise at the customer location.
- Maintains confidentiality of pricing, customer information, events contracts, Return on Investment (ROI) reports and other sensitive and confidential information.
- Creates, adjusts and maintains delivery and trailer schedules and completes time off requests, internal time sheets, Equipment Move orders, DOT logs, ROT analysis and other paperwork as required according to established standards.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
High School or GED required.
Experience
1 - 3 years of Special Events experience; previous leadership/supervisory experience strongly preferred. 6-12 months of previous mechanical and/or equipment troubleshooting experience.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications & Licenses
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
Other Requirements
Knowledge of: beverage industry; product line; retail sales environment; various equipment (e.g. vending machines, coolers, fountain units); basic mechanics and troubleshooting skills. Skill in: internal and external customer service in a variety of settings. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently without direct supervision; adapt to change; display a professional, positive attitude; read (e.g. diagrams, maps) and write; perform basic math functions (e.g. addition, subtraction); communicate effectively with customers and other employees and develop good working relationships; be trained on operating a pallet jack, 2 and 4 wheeled hand cart, power washer, hand held computer; tow trailer, computer and other mechanical equipment; drive a vehicle; lift heavy equipment and product repetitively; multi-task; problem solve.
