Special Event Bartender
Job Description:
Cru Catering is looking for experienced Special Event Bartenders to join our award-winning team! If you are looking for something part-time, manageable around another full-time job, or just extremely flexible, this is the job for you! As a staff member with Cru Catering, you will have the opportunity to work at venues all over the Charleston and sometimes get to travel around the Southeast. Our high level of service and expectations are driving factors in our continued success. As a Cru Bartender, previous experience and TIPS certification is required. We are looking for responsible individuals that would like to work part-time on an income-supplemental basis.
Job Responsibilities:
· Bartenders are responsible for setting up their bar, glassware and double checking their opening inventory and replenishing supplies as needed.
· Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
· Responsible for sanitation in and around the bar area.
· Read and understand all particulars of Banquet Event Orders, including start time and beverage requirements.
· Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management.
· Any other tasks or duties as requested.
Job Requirements:
· All Bartenders must successfully complete TIPS training
· Should have previous experience, preferably in an event/banquet style setting.
· Must be flexible and able to work weekends and evenings.
· Must have reliable transportation to and from different event locations throughout the Charleston area.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
