Qualifications: Valid PA Certification: Special Education - Visually Impaired PK-12
Description: The LIU 12 Blind/Visually Impaired Support Program provides specially designed instruction to students whose visual impairment adversely impacts their ability to access their education in both regular and Special Education settings. IU 12 provides vision evaluations, consultations, and ongoing support services that are integrated into the child's least restrictive environment.
Terms: Full Time - 188 Days
Salary: LIUEA Pay Scale (minimum $47,157), plus benefits*
*The LIU offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, including:
- Medical (for a nominal premium), dental and vision insurance. Dental & Vision are at no cost to the employee.
- All full-time professional staff receive a $45,000 life insurance policy, at no cost to the employee
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP). For any employees and eligible dependents. You have the opportunity for 3 free counseling sessions per year, per person.

- Full-time employees who are scheduled for 188 days/year receive 10 sick days and 3 personal days. If hired after the start of any year, the leave is prorated.
