Special Education Teacher - Sped (Contract)

• $1,800-$1,900/week.

• Monday - Friday | 37.5 hours per week.
• Follows school/district calendar. Not required to work during school breaks.
• School Year contract with a high probability to extend into following years to come.
• Start date: ASAP.

• Conducts teaching using a variety of skills and teaching techniques, appropriate to the students diagnosed as learning disabled.
• Prepares daily lesson plans based on individual student's Individual Education Plans (IEP), and teaches students by selecting, developing, adapting, and implementing appropriate instructional methods and techniques.
• Continuously evaluates individual and group progress appropriate to each student's IEP, and redesigns instruction, as necessary, to meet individual needs.
• Makes progress reports to parents and confers with parents and other concerned persons.

• MUST BE U.S. RESIDENT.
• Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• ESA.
• 2+ years of experience in related fields.
