End Date: June 7, 2024+possibility of renewal for the Next school year 2024-25
No. Of Working Days: 5 days a week
- You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
- Meet each student's learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
- You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students' progress.
- Adapt learning materials to students' needs, ability to create IEPs
- Keep track of and reflect on students' progress
- Monitor children's behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
- Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
- Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities.
- Collaborate with the support staff
- All other duties related to the program.
Requirements:
- Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential.
- 1+ years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree with an emphasis in Special Education will be preferred.
