Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and support staff to ensure the success of students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with students with special needs is a plus.
