Special Education Teacher

Nexus Therapy is now hiring for Special Education Teachers who are seeking a summer school ESY opportunity for this summer! These positions would be working on-site with a great district near lovely Oak Lawn, Illinois. These positions pay $60 per hour for a licensed and certified Special Education Teacher in Illinois and you can bill for 17 hours per day week worked! Hours and dates would be from 8:30-12:45 June 17- June 20th; June 24- June 27; July 8- 11; July 15-18 (16 days total). You'd be working with elementary-aged students in grades K-7 with a variety of needs and caseloads vary from 5-13 students. Must have your LBS1 Illinois certificate.

```Duties:```
- Providing Special Education instruction and support to students in need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers.

```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Valid Illinois license or certification in Special Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.
