Special Education Teacher- Elementary - Small Caseload - 15 Students

With Scoot Education you will be a W-2 employee eligible for full benefits. One of our partner schools has an opportunity to support their elementary level special needs students for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. There are 15 students in this Resource caseload. Salary for our option with no benefits and insurance ($70K)

A successful Special Education Teacher will:

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

• Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments

• Collaborate with general Education Teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student

• Prepare timely progress reports for each student

• Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports

You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• AZ Department of Education Special Education certification
