ZSN Systems and Solutions is hiring a Special Education Teacher to work at our school in Vallejo, & Richmond CA. For the 2nd semester of the remaining school year 2023-24.

2 SET needed at Vallejo & 1 SET needed at Richmond

5th & 7th Ed Specialist - Resource/Co-teaching Caseload - Vallejo, CA 500 Oregon St, Vallejo, CA

Caseload supporting a Mild-Mod Middle School caseload, collaborating with other educators, conducting push-in/pull-out sessions for students, and developing and managing IEPs for students in Middle School

Age group of kids: Middle School - 5th & 7th Graders
Caseload: Currently ~23 Students currently
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Number of days left: ~116 instructional days left in the 2023-2024 school year (some are minimum for students, full days for staff
Start date: ASAP - ideally Nov 27, 2023, but flexible until the position is filled
End date: June 8, 2024, is the Last school day 23-24 School Year, but potentially flexible for summer ESY Teaching

5th - 8th SDC Mod/Severe Caseload - Vallejo, CA 500 Oregon St, Vallejo, CA

Teacher in Middle School SDC classroom, support students alongside classroom paraeducators and other service providers, lesson planning and curriculum development, and developing and managing IEPs for students in Middle School

Age group of kids: Middle School - 5th - 8th Graders
Caseload: Currently ~8 Students currently
number of hours: 40 hours/week
Number of days left: ~116 instructional days left in the 2023-2024 school year (some are minimum for students, full days for staff)
Start date: ASAP - ideally Nov 27, 2023, but flexible until the position is filled
End date: June 8, 2024, is the Last school day 23-24 School Year, but flexible for summer ESY Teaching if interested.

Caseload supporting a Mild-Mod Middle School caseload, collaborating with other educators, conducting push-in/pull-out sessions for students, and developing and managing IEPs for students in Middle School

Age group of kids: Middle School - 5th & 7th Graders
Caseload: Currently ~21 Students currently
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Number of days left: ~116 instructional days left in the 2023-2024 school year (some are minimum for students, full days for staff)
Start date: ASAP - ideally Nov 27, 2023, but flexible until the position is filled
End date: June 8, 2024, is the Last school day 23-24 School Year, but potentially flexible for summer ESY Teaching

The position comes with the possibility of an extension for the school year 2024-25, based on the performance of the remaining school year.
