Position: Mobile Crane Technician

Pay: $30-$55. Experience Depending

Shift: 1st M-F with occasional weekend work

Location: Sparks, NV


Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting on a variety of Mobile Crane equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct routine maintenance and service tasks on Mobile Crane equipment, including lubrication, fluid checks, filter replacements, and component inspections.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, utilizing diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical resources as needed.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts, components, or systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of Mobile Crane equipment, documenting findings, and identifying potential safety hazards or operational deficiencies.
  • Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance records accurately and promptly, maintaining detailed records of all service activities and equipment histories.
  • Collaborate with service managers, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate service schedules, prioritize work orders, and maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers, operators, and onsite personnel, answering questions, offering guidance, and ensuring safe and proper equipment operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA and industry safety standards.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as a Mobile Crane Technician or similar role, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Mobile Crane equipment, including familiarity with crane controls, systems, and components.
  • Technical certifications or licenses related to crane maintenance and repair, such as NCCCO certification or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel to client sites and operate company vehicles as needed.
