Job Overview: A trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for employees or participants to enhance their skills and knowledge in a specific field or role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years of experience teaching or workshop/ training facilitation strongly encouraged.
Principal Requirements:
To provide training courses to organizations and individuals in accordance with the objectives of Connecting Generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Assist with the creation of training materials, lesson plans, and learning objectives to meet the needs of the target audience.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions in a classroom, workshop, or online setting, ensuring engagement and knowledge transfer.
- Participant Assessment: Evaluate the progress and performance of trainees through assessments, observations, and feedback.
- Adaptability: Modify training methods and materials as needed to accommodate different learning styles and adapt to changing needs.
- Subject Matter Flexibility: Adapt to industry trends and best practices to deliver up-to-date training content.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize training technologies, software, and multimedia tools.
- Documentation: Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.
- Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve training programs continually.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in training and development, or in the specific subject matter being taught, is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan and deliver effective training programs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using training tools and software, specifically Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

· Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekend and evening work

Work Environment: Trainers can work in various settings, including corporate offices, and educational institutions. They may also need to travel to conduct off-site training sessions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
