Position Responsibilities:
- Accountable in creating and continuously evaluating and optimizing planograms for given categories to improve functionality, accurately reflect assortment decisions and are consistent with category strategy, visual merchandising standards and planogram optimization targets;
- Design planograms that are localized to each store and are able to be executed without disruptions in the field;
- Implementing planograms by producing and publishing clear and concise written directives guiding field operations on efficient in-store implementation;
- Lead and collaborate with store specific planogram and merchandising concerns;
- Analyze SKU productivity on planograms for assigned categories and recommend how to improve sales and productivity of space;
- Clearly communicate with team members across the organization;
- Other job duties as assigned;
- Independent travel required periodically (<10%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and retail operations experience;
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in merchandising, Space Planning, store planning, or related role;
- CPG/food & beverage experience preferred;
- Planogram software experience (i.e., JDA/Apollo/Spaceman/etc.);
- High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously;
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills;
- High level of personal accountability;
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams;
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team and department goals.
