Space Planner will provide space planning expertise to address the needs and priorities of BSWH projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Generates conceptual solutions that respond to client's spatial requirements, physical planning constraints and corresponding IT, HR and compliance requirements. Evaluate alternative scenarios against the criteria for success. Prepares site plans, graphics and drawings for presentation.
- Monitor the integrity of, verify and update BSWH space data and CAD drawings from information gathered through surveys and other means; verify existing space conditions and measurements.
- Conduct space surveys and planning studies for applicable BSWH projects and facilities; report and document any inappropriate use of space to the Manager as these studies are being conducted and recommend corrective action; implement such corrective action and ensure completion.
- Prepare space layouts and supporting documentation for moves; develop proposals for efficient space utilization.
- Maintain the integrity and update all client electronic facility plans, including but not limited to: Life Safety Documentation, Site/Property Ownership Plans and Facility Space Allocation Plans.
- Assist in implementation of VI. CAFM system at various campuses.
- Maintain Standards and Guidelines library for healthcare system.
- Responsible for tool upgrades and management.
- Communicates recommendations in written reports and graphic presentations. Illustrates organizational, operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts.
- Works with Planning Team to develop ad hoc scenario planning reports.
- Creates CAD based architectural plans.
- Develops opportunities to decrease costs and increase process efficiencies.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
