Position Description:
Red Trace Technologies, Inc., has an immediate requirement for a Space Assessment Planner. This position is responsible for ensuring successful Combatant Command, Component Commands, and Service level assessment event planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting in support of DOT&E’s Cybersecurity Assessment Program (CAP) events for both internal and external discussion-based and operations-based Combatant Commands and Service exercises and operational events. The position is responsible for designing Space events that support Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3) assessment events and drafting and executing the associated Data Collection Plan (DCP). Conducts post-exercise or operational assessment after-action reporting and analysis, synthesize corrective actions, and implement tracking/monitoring of progress to measure improvements and design future exercises to test those improvements.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to tactical and operational Space operations in support of NC3 operations is required.
- Top Secret with eligibility for Special Compartmental Information (SCI) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is desired.
- Must meet DoD 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Framework certification requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, planning, executing, and assessing exercises and operational assessments.
- Experience interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing factual reports.
- Deep knowledge of, and experience working with USSPACECOM, USSPACEFORCE, STARCOM, or their predecessor organization.
- Experience performing threat analysis of adversary techniques, tactics, and procedures used to disrupt Space assets and supporting systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the Joint Exercise Lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of the DOT&E Cyber Assessment Program processes and procedures
- Experience developing and presenting briefs to senior leaders and managers.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, and excellent computer proficiency.
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with software and system engineering; requirements; design; integration and test; and program management activities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service.
