Spa Laundry Attendants perform multiple tasks ranging from washing and folding laundry items, to operating commercial laundry equipment. Completed tasks are sustained in a manner that is conducive to a 5 Star Resort and Spa, and that supports guests and team members. They maintain communication with the other team members and offer assistance to guests as necessary, so must be comfortable communicating in english. Additionally, Spa Laundry Attendants support the cleanliness of specialty spa public areas including spa restrooms, spa locker rooms and the Pixie wellness studios as needed.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
Wash items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
Clean and maintain laundry room area and necessary equipment
Unload laundry from commercial dryers
Stock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
Maintain proper handwashing with soap, required before handling linen.
Disinfect work area upon arrival to work and throughout the day.
Clean and sanitize any hard surfaces (cabinet, shelf or bins) where linen will be placed before stocking necessary items for work shift.
Discolored or damaged linen is disposed of in a specific area and low volume of product should be noted to leadership so supply is sustained.
Confirm Housekeeping/Laundry Pass-on for any upcoming issues.
Assess overnight items and begin laundry services for the day.
Bagged items delivered via laundry shoot will be in house and of a variety of wash types.
Bins for in house washing should be closely available to you.
Clean linen should be bagged appropriately, to signify its ready to be stored.
Maintain supplies and make note if any backup needs to be replenished.
Assess any at work items and help continue laundry services for the day.

Complete laundry services as needed, assisting Wet area attendants when applicable.
Put any notes in the Housekeeping Pass-on that will be relevant to the next shift.
Maintain high cleanliness standards and report deficiencies of any facilities or equipment
Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times.
Maintain linen inventory to and from laundry on a scheduled basis.
English Speaking. High school graduate or equivalent. Hospitality in a resort setting is preferred but not required.
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES:
Help maintain cleanliness of all spa village areas.
Maintain locker rooms in a tidy manner, as needed.
Clean and restock showers after every use, in support of Spa Attendant.
Restock all linens and towels in locker room areas, as needed
Check and clean lockers when needed.
Maintain toiletries in locker room vanities, as needed.
As assigned, support the cleanliness of Pixie Wellness Studios.

The pay for this position is $18.75/hour.
