Float8 is a floatation therapy-focused wellness service brand offering floatation therapy in a safe, clean and serene environment for our floaters so they can live happier, healthier and more productive lives. We have two float centers located in South Florida, two locations in Orlando and new locations on the way. Each Float8 location has float rooms surrounded by hip and inspiring art-infused lounges and other quiet spaces to relax, recover and reset.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Float8 Float Facilitator manages both front- and back-of-house duties including but not limited to:
- Greeting and educating floaters while leading them through our customer journey
- Cleaning
- Providing new floater orientations
- Laundry
- Using our POS/booking/project management systems
- Cleaning
- Preparing float rooms
- Laundry
- And… cleaning & laundry.
We successfully make the job look easy to our floaters but let’s be real, this job requires hustle and a take-care-of-business mentality (queue mission and vision inspiration).
You must love floating. A regular float practice is one of the best perks of the job, rivaled only by your interactions with our amazing floaters.
Grossed out by other people’s hair? Don’t like dipping into your stash of elbow grease? Unable to occasionally move a 50lb bag of Epsom salt? This job is probably not for you.
We are confident that we can train you on all of the necessary skills required to do the job, but you need to embody the Float8 Core Values and be inspired by our Mission and Vision in order to succeed within our entrepreneurial organization.
Scheduling & Availability Float8 is open early in the morning until late at night, seven days a week. *Hours listed are subject to change.
- Opening Shift: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
- Closing Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
All Float Facilitators are required to be available for Deep Clean on Tuesday mornings and are required to have flexible availability for a combination of days, nights and weekends.
Compensation
- $16-20/hour, including tips & commissions
- Paid training starts at $13/hour, training continues until you are able to operate the shop independently. Pay increases with ongoing training, continuing education and regular floating.
