Job Summary
Zyxel Communications, a leading supplier of secure broadband networking and Internet connectivity & routing products designed for Broadband Service Providers, is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Regional Account Manager to develop and grow new customers within the Southeast United States. Primary Job Functions
- Achieve quarterly and annual regional sales quota by developing and executing a regional sales plan targeted at expanding business with existing customers and development of new customers within the region.
- Demonstrable record of year-over-year increases in regional sales production.
- Work with and support regional sales representatives from Zyxel’s network of distributors
- Develop and support marketing plans with Zyxel marketing and sales leadership team for your region.
- Create new business leads using relationships with regional distributor representatives and other industry hardware and software sales representatives.
- Utilize Zyxel automated lead generation and trade show lead development for new customer prospects.
- Arrange customer meetings with senior management and technical executives using Zyxel product management, product marketing, engineering, and management members to develop and close new business opportunities.
- Participate in Sales Trade Shows or other Sales and Marketing events as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- A BS or BA degree is required.
- Requires 3 -10 years of experience selling broadband hardware and software. Experience selling within the communications service provider market is a plus.
- Capable of determining customer requirements and communicating Zyxel solutions at various customer organizational levels: engineering, marketing, purchasing, and senior management.
- Working in a Zyxel team environment participate with high energy and determination to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
- Requires thoughtful and effective verbal and written communication skills within Zyxel, with customers and distributors, and with industry contacts in the broadband telecommunications industry.
- Travel is required for successful territory development and will be 50%.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
