The Sourcing & Recruiting Specialist will actively recruit through talent Sourcing & candidate identification and working qualified candidates through the entire recruiting process. This includes heavy sourcing activities including cold calls, email & text campaigns, advertising, job fairs and traveling to aviation schools. Recruiting includes reviewing resumes and screening candidates by phone, scheduling interviews, and assisting our recruiting department with administrative and HR-related tasks as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify qualified candidates and top talent.
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System to continually build a robust talent database
- Use all available resources to contact potential candidates and persuade them to consider employment with Western Aircraft.
- Maintain job postings on various online platforms, military bases, aviation schools and social media.
- Screen resumes and perform initial interviews to determine applicant qualifications by analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Organize interviews with hiring managers, arrange candidate travel logistics, escort applicant to interviews and arrange company tours as appropriate.
- Emphasize benefits and perks to potential candidates
- Serve as a liaison with employment agencies
- Keep up to date with industry trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a position where sourcing is primary responsibility
- Background or experience in a recruiting role and customer service is a plus!
- Strong computer skills and administrative experience including proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent data entry and technical writing skills.
- Thrives in a challenging and fast paced professional environment and is willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Highly motivated, goal driven, result oriented team player
- Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration will be key to success in this role
Other Prerequisites
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
- Valid Driver's license
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled office environment. Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
