Sourcing Project Manager

ITI Manufacturing is a 50 year old employee-owned company located in Sugar Land that specializes in contract manufacturing of component parts and finished goods in Asia. We work in a cross-cultural team centric environment and offer generous benefits to employees and their families. We are looking for a Chinese speaking Sourcing Project Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the supplier side of contract manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in weekly Sourcing team meetings, monthly project summary meetings, and monthly financial update meetings

RFQ Management

• Attend and participate in project kickoff calls to understand scope and requirements of RFQ
• Source new project RFQs within 14 days
• Complete requote RFQs within 2 days
• Review and negotiate factory pricing proposals
• Update RFQ log

Project Order Management

• Place production orders with factories
• Review production schedules, and ensure production orders stay on schedule
• Provide weekly updates to National Account Managers
• Verify freight bookings
• Approve factory payment amounts
• Maintain necessary project records

Quality Management

• Participate in development of product inspection requirements
• Review inspection reports
• Lead root cause analysis, write Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and help resolve quality issues
• Provide Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to inspectors and factories
• Update Issue Resolution log

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Team oriented – cooperative and collaborative
• Self-motivated and able to self-check work
• Ability to use experience to creatively solve manufacturing, quality, and shipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for prioritizing and organizing workload
• Good oral and written communication skills with fluency in both Chinese and English are essential
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Engineering, mechanical, or manufacturing background with 3+ years work experience
• LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT – Chinese speaker
• Hybrid work – Will require a high-speed internet connection and home computer
• Highly proficient in MS Office Excel and Word
