The Solutions Architect is a knowledgeable Python, SQL, and Cloud backend programmer who is responsible for helping BriteCore’s Insurance Policy Administration customers diagnose and resolve their most complex challenges. Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation of highly scalable and reliable B2B enterprise integrations
- Customer-specific and Product Enhancements
- Design and Implementation of Reporting Solutions in a regulated environment
- Enterprise ISV level support to large-scale customers
- Develop a deep knowledge base in Mutual P&C Insurance best practices and work processes including insurance policy manuals, rating manuals, and underwriting guidelines
Skills and Requirements
- 7+ Years experience in Python in an enterprise SaaS environment hosted on AWS
- Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience with a solid understanding of programming concepts
- Experience with leading a software engineering team
- Strong familiarity with the Linux Operating System
- Expert Level Knowledge of:
- Python
- MySQL
- Database and Query Optimization
- Application Performance Tuning
- Cloud Application Design and Delivery
- RIA Technologies and Patterns such as Knockout, VUE, react.js
- AWS Technologies
- EC2, ECS and Lambda & API Gateway
- Amazon S3 - Files and Vendor integrations
- CloudWatch - Writing queries
- Step Functions
- Documented Practical Experience with Business to Business integrations at scale
- Experience with Customer Communication including executive representatives
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- English intermediate/advanced – C1 CEFR is a MUST
- Desire to learn continuously and operate in a fast-paced environment
