Job description

This position is part of CDW's Networking and Security Practices, a single-source provider to our clients for all things Cybersecurity, Networking, Wireless, & Data Center. The Cisco SASE Solutions Architect is responsible for handling customer escalations, assist with planning go-to- market strategies, acting as a liaison between CDW and Cisco, and mentoring the individuals on the Networking and Security teams. The incumbent ensures outstanding customer service to internal and external customers as well as developing and maintaining positive business relationships with other departments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

·        Develop key go-to-market materials and strategies around Cisco SASE solutions.  These would include Statement of Work templates, Services Calculators, Technical Training curriculum, Battle Cards, Sell Sheets, and Needs GatheringDocuments

·        Lead technical Peer Reviewsessions

·        Develop Peer Reviewthresholds

·        Drive the top deals to close for the quarter

·        Drive Cisco SASE solutions into CDW’s largest accounts

·        Develop and conduct technical team training on our strategicsolutions

·        Assist with new hirementoring

·        Review and validate vendor trainings andmaterials

·        Review and propose new products and solutions that the team should focuson

·        Reviewexistingproductsandsolutionstoensurewe’refocusingonthebestproductsforourcustomers

·        Assist with the development of a RFP/RFI process and responsedevelopment

·        Work with CDW practice leads, delivery, and Cisco to integrate Cisco SASE Solutions into CDW’s go-to-market, refining and developing bestpractices.

·        Act as a point of contact to communicate best practices to and from theteam.

·        Be a subject matter expert about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing andtechnical services. Maintain credible knowledge of competing technologies andsolutions.

·        WorkwithotherCDWSolutionArchitectPracticesincludingContactCenter,Video,Mobility, Security, Networking,andServer/Storage to develop customersolutions.

·        Understand client business drivers and needs. Provide input on strategies to drive revenue for Cisco SASE solutions and theoverall CDW Networking and Security practices.

·        Conduct presentations online and in-person to existing and potential customers. Facilitate and perform demos forclients.

·        Be responsible for maintaining partner relationship, attend trainings and seminars, and keep salesorganization updated on market trends and best practices as they relate to Cisco SASEsolutions.

·        Attend CDW led marketing efforts including manufacturer trade/partner shows, regional technology seminars, andsales events. Provide support with speaking engagements whenappropriate.

Responsibilities

·        50% Customer Focus, Developing and Driving Cisco SASE Solutions  

·        20% Team development, Training, Deliverable Development (Statement of Work,etc.)

·        20% Delivering Presentations at CDW, Vendor, and Industry marketingevents

·        5% Sales activities via conference calls, email, and customervisits

·        5% PersonalDevelopment

·        50% Travel or asneeded

Qualifications - Internal Minimum Qualifications

·        Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or the equivalent inexperience.

·        Four-year minimum advanced Networking/Data Center/Wireless solutionexperience.

·        Consulting or Pre-Salesexperience.

·        Thorough knowledge of Cisco SASE, other Cisco Networking and Security products and understanding ofinfrastructure.

·        Ability to travel up to 50% asneeded.

·        Concentrate on certain areas of technology driven by company technologyobjectives.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience in technologysales

·        Cisco Professional or Expert-level Certifications

·        Experience working in a fast-paced workenvironment
