Duties & Responsibilities

• As a member of the Solution Architecture team, you will ensure success in helping customers accelerate their adoption of our comprehensive storage services.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Zadara solutions engineering and partner solutions architect communities.
• Guide and motivate the development of White Papers, datasheets, proof of concept best practices, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practice information.
• Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, support service, engineering, and product management and management teams.
• Help train partners and customers on maximizing the benefits of the Zadara ecosystems.
• Position and propose innovative approaches to customer challenges to meet their business goals.
• Candidates must have strong communication skills and be very technical, with the ability to earn trust with Zadara customers and partners at any level, from executive to developer.

Skills and Experience

• Education: Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Certification: AWS Solutions Architecture Certification or VMware Certification would be an advantage.
• Experience working with customers in highly regulated industries that have requirements for working with one or more security and compliance regimes.
• Proven experience in customer-facing positions.
• Demonstrated experience with Data Center networks and network topologies.
• Demonstrate firm knowledge and experience of SAN / NAS technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
• Proven experience in consultative technical sales or professional services with a proven track record of success.
• Ability to gain credibility and build relationships with all levels in an organization, from technical experts to senior executives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
• Expert software architecture skills and experience building complex software systems designs.
• Extensive hands-on, technical experience working with VMware and/or AWS technologies.
• Understanding of Application workloads such as SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, Docker; Kubernetes services would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Backup, Disaster Recovery solutions and architectures.

Salary Range: 110k - 150k
