Job Description
Title: Project Coordinator
Purpose: Provide coordination and administrative support services to the Project Management Team. Act as project management liaison and provide direct support as owners representative for PV solar projects.
Position Tasks & Responsibilities:
Departmental and project level administrative support
Review design documents, progress reports, local & utility permits, schedules, contracts and other documents
Facilitation of Solar Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA) and Interconnection Agreement (IA)
Establish and maintain projects in Procore (input key contacts, project details, templates, locations, etc.)
Ensure that all project details and related communications are accurately stored in Procore database (including RFIs, inspections, observations, meetings, field reports, etc.)
Become familiarized with multiple internal software utilized as an owner's representative: Salesforce, Avetta, WorkDocs, Box, CMUpload, Right Crowd, Quip, Phone Tool, etc.
Tracking and recording of the design review process
Assist in obtaining landlord consent to alterations
Ensure all contractors adhere to project specifications and procedures established as owner's representative (Pre-construction & Safety requirements)
Perform comprehensive review of various project submittals (Pre-mob, Mobilization, Construction, Close-out, etc.)
Ensure site controls are deployed in accordance with scope of work (SOW) and owners specifications (i.e. general conditions, housekeeping, storm water management, maintenance of property, truckyard, etc.)
Attend project related meetings regularly and provide weekly status reports
Provide site access to subcontractors/stakeholders and coordinate logistics with site team leaders
Provide administrative support for MOP for any type of facility outages or shutdowns
Preparing and delivering presentations to project stakeholders and/or internal teams
Participate and implement process improvements
Support other projects as needed
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Minimum BA/BS degree required - Engineering, Land Use Planning, Construction Management or related preferred - any courses in PV will be considered a plus
Ability to work under tight project timelines and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work independently with the ability to quickly resolve key project issues with little oversight
High level of professionalism with attention to detail
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and Procore (preferred)
This role will support project sites and teams in California
