Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide information on solar energy solutions
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the solar market, including industry trends, competitor offerings, and government regulations
- Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking events
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and update sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond
Experience:
- Previous experience in energy sales or solar sales is highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and their installation process is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and meet sales targets
