Job Description
- Collaborate with design teams to develop and align aircraft systems with specifications and needs.
- Design and engineer aircraft systems considering performance, safety, weight, cost, and regulations.
- Conduct analyses to choose the best components, materials, and technologies.
- Integrate different aircraft systems for smooth communication and operation.
- Analyze test data and troubleshoot to fix any system issues.
- Ensure all aircraft systems mimic the real aircraft's functionality.
- Work with regulators and experts to get approvals for aircraft systems.
- Create technical documents like system specifications and test reports.
- Maintain accurate records of system designs and test results.
- Work closely with diverse teams to achieve system integration goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Stay updated on aircraft system trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance aircraft performance and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the related simulation field
- Proven track record in designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace.
- Proficient in electrical design software like C++, Altium Designer, Cadence Or CAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of avionics standards and regulations such as DO-160, DO-178, DO-254
- Knowledgeable about embedded systems, digital and analog circuit design, power electronics, and RF communication.
- Experienced in managing thermal and electromagnetic interference in aeronautical systems.
- Effective communicator, able to explain technical ideas to both technical and non-technical people.
- Previous involvement in project management, including task coordination and meeting deadlines.
