Position Overview:
In this entry-level role, you will be part of a team who is responsible for implementing and maintaining solutions for our customers. You will need to focus on customer satisfaction and carry out our customer support plan, which is comprised of a wide range of technical and accounting product knowledge. Our customer support plan also requires research, team collaboration, and duplication of the problem to resolve customer issues. We deliver post-sale support through a number of channels including phone, email, and forums.
Description:
Fielding of incoming questions and issues from customers in a fast paced customer service environment
Problem identification, research, and resolution over the phone or by email
Analyze, troubleshoot, and test application software
Advance to be increasingly self-sufficient in handling incoming questions and escalate problems to higher support tiers as appropriate
Gain an understanding of the customer urgency of certain reported issues in order to appropriately ensure company management is aware of the importance of open issues
Communicate resolutions in an effective manner to the customers and follow issues through to resolution
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, MIS, IS, Distribution, Operations, or Logistics preferred)
Recent college graduate preferred
Excellent organization skills, problem-solving skills, verbal/written communication skills, and good telephone presence are required
Must be able to express technical concepts in an effective manner, both verbally and written
Desire and willingness to learn the system and software
Solid understanding of wholesale distribution including strong knowledge of general business procedures such as accounting, inventory management, and order processing required
Previous experience with ERP or Accounting software within the wholesale distribution industry or computer software industry is desired
