Position Title Software Support Analyst Job Description This position supports the College's strategic objectives with innovative, effective uses of information systems and data structures and provides support to end users of the ERP/ CRM and administrative information systems and integrated third party systems.
Full Time/Part Time Regular, Full Time If part time, projected hours (per week) Organizational Division Marketing & Enrollment Services Campus Location Council Bluffs Required Qualifications - AAS degree in computer science, MIS or related field.
- Two years of experience in relational databases, query languages, programming, and application software analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn through research and testing.
- Commitment to customer service, including the ability to exercise patience, tact and good judgement in dealing with end users.
- Ability to focus on the details of work content, work steps and final work products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate in both small and large group settings and with diverse groups of people including co-workers, students, business contacts and at various levels from front-line to administration.
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, to meet deadlines and to manage time and output.
- Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people.
- Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team.
- Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS or related field.
- Experience with any of the following preferred:
- Document Imaging Systems (Softdocs)
- Ellucian Colleague, Recruit and Advise software
- SQL
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Windows Server and IIS administration
- Microsoft Azure or LDAP
- Web programming and graphical design
- Normal office
- Medium work (lift 11-30 lbs)
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
