In this internship program as a Software Quality Assurance Tester, you will have the opportunity to work in a team environment to help protect the casino and gambling markets around the world by thoroughly testing products to identify potential problems and defects, optimize quality, and ensure regulatory compliance. We are seeking students in their Junior or Senior year of college to join our team of engineers who maintain the integrity of these dynamic platforms, to ensure games are played by the rules and no one gets cheated.

We work with manufacturers to test land-based and online electronic gaming equipment for the gambling industry to ensure they are fair and working in compliance with the regulations set by government entities.  This includes slot machines, igaming, sports betting, lottery, bingo, keno, and many other products. What You Will Accomplish Here...

This is a fast-paced, dynamic position and an ideal fit for someone who thrives on wearing many hats to assist with all aspects of software and hardware Quality Assurance testing to optimize the team's productivity. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with our global team and utilize problem-solving skills and attention to detail to support department initiatives and drive efficiency.

 

 

Over the course of a 10-12-week Summer internship beginning in the Summer of 2024, you will focus on the following: 

  • Developing an understanding of technical requirements pertaining to electronic gaming devices.
  • Learning the proper operation and function of various electronic gaming devices.
  • Properly executing test methods.
  • Testing electronic gaming machines to various regulatory standards.
  • Documenting and communicating test results to internal and external clients.
  • Utilizing various internal tools used for project tracking and management. 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Currently an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date between August 2024 - August 2025.
  • Knowledge of C++, Java, or a similar programming language is required.
  • A working knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Must demonstrate high attention to quality, details, correctness, and deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

 

Location: This is an in-person, full-time position based out of our Las Vegas, NV Office

Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Salary: $20 h/r 

Travel: Minimal to no travel is expected for this position.
