Overview
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Reno Casino Platform Test team. If you have a passion for technology as it relates to making high quality games, enjoy working in a team environment and have a commitment to providing a world class customer experience, we would be interested in talking to you. You will typically work under the mentorship of a senior tester, testing platform software to ensure it meets required customer, jurisdictional and functional specifications and complies with regulatory requirements, with an expectation to become independent. You will develop and execute test plans and test scripts for game software and assist in defining test standards.
Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for performing casino platform testing activities. QA Analyst; Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required.
- Develops test documentation, performs system testing, and secures, organizes, and maintains test environment.
- Records, reports, and tracks defects to accurately depict the status of the system.
- Medium complexity-Quality Assurance. Has an understanding and can handle most testing activities. Is able to handle the majority of all testing activities independently, seeking guidance if needed. Site based QA, influence limited to interface with Software Development teams in other locations.
- Complexity of applications; constant change in customer requirements.
- Indirect Reports (influenced) Site Operations.
- Standard requirements for research and analyses: regular analysis of data.
- Opportunity and consequence of typical errors (supervision): Errors are usually correctable with additional resources. Regular opportunity of error, moderate supervision/ policy guidance.
- Frequency and complexity of internal business contacts: Frequent contacts with software and operations department,
- Frequency and complexity of external business contacts: Frequent and day to day contact with the local site customer.
- Writes and records TIR's helps in defining and reviews of site software specifications and assist local staff in operations procedure development. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science
- 2-4 -years related experience

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,000 - $101,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
