Software Integrator

Job Description
Join our team and help us deliver cutting-edge virtual training and simulation environments to the men and women of the U.S. Marine Corps as a VSiF Software Integrator! If you enjoy systems integration and virtualization, this role is for you! You will also have the ability to work remotely one day per week.
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploys, configures, operates, and maintains all or some of the following systems: GCCS-TCO, CHE, JTCW, AFATDS, and JADOCS
• Performs root cause analysis of system, software, and/or network related issues
• Reviews and provides feedback for system and program related documentation
• Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation
• Acts as the technical point of contact for many issues: works to track, manage, and resolve technical issues within the program and coordination
• Assists in generating system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures
• Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements
• Communications regularly with U.S. Marine Forces Units, Government Customers, Contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss statuses, solve problems, exchange information and to maintain productivity and progressive communication
• Produces reports indicating status of configuration items and communicates to management
• Provides input to schedules to track document delivery milestones
• Analyzes and understands software requirements based on customer-defined business needs
• Installs and maintains software and system components

Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables successful performance of essential job functions
• Five (5) years of experience in software integration to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support
• Hands-on technical experience configuring, securing, and troubleshooting operating system applications
• Prior experience creating and deploying system images, configurations, and updates
• Knowledge and experience with Agile service management tools such as JIRA
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Marine Corps C2 and Command Post systems: Strong understanding of the systems and processes used by the Marine Corps, including knowledge of the technology and equipment used by Marines in the field, as well as the procedures and protocols they follow
• Experience deploying and configuring all or some of the following Programs of Record (POR): GCCS-TCO, CHE, JTCW, AFATDS, and JADOCS
• Experience configuring and/or administering a VMware virtual infrastructure
• Experience maintaining a Windows Active Directory environment
• Familiarity with configuring and operating Linux operating systems
• Experience with the following:
  
  • Assessing architecture and current hardware limitations
  • Assisting in coordinating the integration of total system
  • Analyzing and resolving difficult and complicated program support deficiencies
  • Delivering presentations to management and/or the customer
  • Providing functional and technical guidance to less experienced integrators in all aspects of integration project

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
