Embarkon a transformative software internship experience at Siemens Healthineers(SHS), starting Summer 2024. We are actively seeking Software Interns to joinour dynamic teams, contribute to impactful projects, and elevate your skills inthe field of medical devices and biomedical technology. Position:Software Intern Duration:10-12 weeks StartDates: May 20th or June 3rd, 2024 Eligibility:Open to currently enrolled Bachelor's or Master's degree students, with apreference for rising juniors or seniors.

Our internship program offers a distinctive project-based structure,providing interns with opportunities to engage in projects within one of ourvarious business units: Varian, Molecular Imaging, Diagnostics, Point-of-Care,Endovascular Robotics, and Customer Sales & Service. Wewill follow up directly to discuss specific intern roles/projects if there is afit your skills and qualifications. InternshipHighlights: Contribute substantively to hands-on projects within diverse business units. Showcase your insights and contributions through presentations to both peers and leadership.

Weekly curated learning, professional development, and networking sessions exclusive to the intern cohort. InternResponsibilities: Participate in the design, development, testing, and/or documentation of software solutions. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to address project requirements and challenges.

Deliver presentations, ensuring effective communication of project findings to peers and leadership. Immerse yourself in the Healthineer culture and intern cohort: join one of our 12 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs); attend all provided learning, development, and community activities; and get a sense of what it's like to build a career with us! Qualifications: Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like Java, C++, or Python.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Exceptional problem-solving and Reasoning skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Exposure to and understanding of databases, queries, and data analysis. Current enrollment in an accredited degree program with intention to return to school upon completion of the internship Asuccessful intern at Healthineers: Is passionate about their work, inspiring others along the way. Feels compelled to assist healthcare providers in delivering top-notch patient care.

Demonstrates initiative and creativity while honoring commitments. Is open to debate, thinking beyond the norm for continuous improvement. Trusts in the tenacity of the team and strives for excellence in execution.
