Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work on large-scale, high-performance systems to make it reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available. Work on the tasks assigned in a sprint. Ensure the successful deployment of applications to production using knowledge of infrastructure, system design, and the release process. Contribute to all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) including gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting and implementing software, responding to outages, code reviews, automation and testing of stories. Utilize understanding of responsibilities of a distributed software platform, including caching layer, system infrastructure, proxies, authorization, and other web services used in the system. Utilize deep knowledge of the application technology stack. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements : (1) SDLC (1 year); (2) NoSQL (2 years); (3) Rest (1 year); (4) Node.js; (5) J2EE (2 years); (6) AWS (1 year); (7) Jenkins (1 year); (8) JavaScript (2 years); (9) MongoDB (1 year); (10) Linux (2 years); (11) Git (or other source control) (1 year); (12) Spring Framework (1 year); (13) HTTP (1 year); (14) OAuth; and (15) RDBMS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
