Juniper Networks is seeking a highly motivated student (intern) to join our team as a software developer. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development focusing on micro service-based Cloud Application monitoring routers and network protocols. You will work closely with our experienced team of developers to contribute to the design, implementation and testing of software solutions that enhance network performance and reliability.

Responsibilities for our ambitious network monitoring project includes:
Assist in design and implementation of micro service-based cloud network monitoring application using Golang, python.
Leverage appropriate Database technologies and open-source tools.
Work on vulnerability management of code base
Contribute to the integration and testing of the developed application.
Document software designs and procedures
Use of Juniper router data to develop network monitoring applications.
Desired qualifications
Candidate for BS or MS Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience of programming with Golang or python
Experience in distributed systems design and integration architectures of business applications using micro services, containers, and cloud
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) features and management
Aware of Agile / Scrum development environment
Knowledge about IP and telco networks and protocols

Minimum Salary: $61,875.00
Maximum Salary:$94,875.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $61,875.00 and $94,875.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
