The Role

Developing applications for electronic trading business. Supporting the applications for large business impact initiatives. Working with diverse groups as part of the development cycle!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• BS or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 8+ years of technology experience in core java development in complex distributed systems
• Proven experience in high-volume, low latency real-time messaging
• Comprehensive experience in overall end-to-end Software Engineering in an agile environment
• You have deep knowledge of Java stack, messaging technologies, multi-threading, caching
• Skilled in developing high-speed messaging applications using messaging technologies such as Ultra-Messaging (29West), TIBCO Rendezvous, etc.
• Experience in dealing with big data in real-time applications
• Your experience with continuous integration and delivery using Concourse and Jenkins
• Your experience in API Design & Development
• Your skills include but not limited to: Possess strong Core Java Skills
• Experienced in Multi-threading, Messaging systems, Databases
• Confirmed strong Unix/Linux Shell Scripting Skills
• Shown strong Junit and other test automation technologies
• Experience with GIT and Maven
• Developed applications in the cloud (Kubernetes, AWS, etc)
• Other technical skillset/experience that are nice to have:
• Angular, NodeJS
• Electronic trading, order management experience is a plus
• FIX protocol is a plus
• KDB/Q , C# .NET,

The Team

In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, the team is responsible for providing electronic trading solutions for Fidelity's Capital Markets division. This is a hands-on role as an individual contributor and responsibilities include technical leadership, insight, and mentoring to peers.
