As a software Engineer on the privacy team you will build and maintain a world class solution that enables some of the worlds largest enterprises to maintain and enforce privacy compliance globally. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the entire techstack which includes everything from client side JavaScript libraries, to enterprise web applications, and petabyte scale data warehouses. You’ll work with JavaScript, Spring, Vue, MongoDB, AWS (ec2, S3, Athena, Step Functions, Quicksight, etc) and many more.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with other team members to design, build and test complex software solutions, using the latest technologies and frameworks
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Work with Product to understand business requirements and market trends
- Collaborate across teams to build complementary solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years experience with modern software development technologies
- In-depth knowledge of one or more popular backend programming languages such as: Java, Python, NodeJS
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as: Vue, React, Angular
- Experience with relational and big data technologies
- Experience building software using AWS technologies
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and security
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player
- Independent and problem solver
- Knowledge of global privacy laws such a GDPR & CCPRA a plus
- Understanding tag management systems and MarTech a plus
The base pay range for this position is $115-$130k per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
