We are seeking a talented Founding Engineer with a strong background in full stack development to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make significant contributions to our projects and shape the future of our product. You’ll be working closely with our Head of Engineering to build a new greenfield product and engineering team from the ground up. Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing HTML, CSS, Typescript, and SQL.
- Implement full stack solutions that meet project requirements and scalability needs.
- Leverage AWS services to build and deploy cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of applications.
You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a professional software development setting.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js or Python.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in your development workflow.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
You’ll Do Great If You Have…
- Experience with NextJS framework for building React applications.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions for automating workflows and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to healthcare technology and interoperability concepts such as HL7 or FHIR.
