Software Engineer Level 0 - 50% Telework:
You want to be a part of a team where onsite training and learning are embedded in your daily experience. You have a strong foundation of skills and you're ready to build and expand. LufCo is looking for a Software Engineer Level 0 to join a solid team. This individual will:

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

Location: :Annapolis Junction, MD
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the following duties: :The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Requirements: :No demonstrated experience is required.

• TS/SCI with Polygraph level Clearance is required.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Four (4) years experience as a SWE.
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Java 6+ and Spring boot.
• Orchestration service (Kubernetes or Marathon/Mesos).
• Building/developing with docker containers
• Database technologies: Solr, Elasticsearch, Influx
• RabbitMQ, Kibana, Grafana
• Experience with DevOps is plus
