The Software Engineer III will assist in maintaining and enhancing existing software applications as well as help build new greenfield application development as well.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Work with cross functional teams to develop functional requirements into the system.
Investigate and resolve software errors in application systems.
Participate in the support for any software issues that may arise in all environments from development through to production.
Top 3 Skills:
- Application Development using C#.NET Core
- Fullstack development experience including JavaScript and SQL knowledge.
- Preferred understanding of Azure for future cloud migrations
Duration:
- 3month contract-to-hire
Location:
- This will sit in our facility in San Dimas for the 3month contract duration and will be allowed to work remotely upon conversion to fulltime.
Technical Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience C#
- 5+ years web development experience with ASP.NET and client side framework
- 5+ years of MS Sql Server development experience
- 3+ Working with TFS or GIT in a team environment
- 5+ designing medium to large applications
- Ability to quickly analyze, design and develop Microsoft based applications to solve business needs
- Able work in a team of local and remote developers working in a Scrum team(s)
- Experience with Visual Studio and.NET framework
- Ability to build Windows services, WCF services, and web applications using C#
- Advanced MS SQL server skills
- Experience with delegates, thread management, multi-threading using Parallel libraries
- Solid understanding of object oriented principles and design patterns
- Able to build service oriented applications, n-tier architecture, web services, and consume web services (SOAP and REST)
- Ability to work directly with customers to develop requirements and design then deliver end to end solutions
- Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address technical and business issues
- Experience working with a team to build, test, and document application functionality
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TFS and MSbuilds
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Kendo UI
- Experience with TDD, and Unit Tests
- Experience with client-side development using custom JS, jQuery or other AJAX libraries
- Knowledge of Scrum, Agile SDLC
- Knowledge of HTML5 frameworks
