What is Broadway's Award-Winning DOJO Program?

The DOJO Program is supplemental to your full-time role. You will begin your position at Broadway enrolled in a 4-week comprehensive study program where you will complete 40+ courses and work with fellow dojo classmates to build and deploy an entirely new product. In this program, you will have a dedicated environment to develop skills and get the hands-on experience needed to operate in today's dynamic financial technology markets - all within only six months of starting your job at Broadway Technology! Broadway's next DOJO class will start in the summer of 2023.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work in C++ and Python to design, implement, and release state-of-the-art components and applications for mission-critical, high performance, globally distributed systems related to automated trading
• Produce exemplary code and deliver completed projects on time
• Connect code to solve business problems
• Collaborate with client-facing technical consultants to ensure that development efforts truly meet customer needs

Supplemental DOJO Program elements include:

• On the job training and mentorship with leading industry professionals, including former dojos and our Executive Leadership Team
• Real-time support and resources to help develop concepts into new products that will be deployed in live production environments
• A deep dive into FinTech and trading software development, as well as usage of our industry-leading, in-house system the Toc
• Increase technology knowledge; learn everything necessary to build out a new project from conception to deployment
• Drive the design, implementation, deployment, and initial support of a new product

What You'll Need

• Graduate with a bachelor's degree in the Winter of 2022 or Spring of 2023
• Computer science, mathematics, or related degree
• An interest in the Financial Technology and Capital Markets industry
• Applicable internship experience
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Superior abstract thinking abilities
• Strong attention to detail, self-management, initiative, discipline, and follow-through
• Self-starter with ability to self-regulate and problem-solve independently through obstacles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Motivated to learn about new industries, master innovative technologies, and push technological boundaries
• Team player who openly shares information, helps others, and is open to new ideas and "going the extra mile" when needed

• Starting base salary of $110k-$130K depending on location plus profit sharing and equity

Multi-Phase Interview Process for Qualified Applicants:

• A technical screen with our partner, Karat
• Virtual first round interview with a Broadway engineer, to include a written code sample submitted prior to the interview
• 3 virtual, technical interviews with Broadway engineers (focusing on coding, problem solving, software systems design, and data structures)
