Personal Financial Management Group (PFMG) Engineering:
Personal Financial Management specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. We consider the relationships with our clients a lifelong partnership, a partnership backed by over 150 years of Goldman Sachs providing consistency, perspective and access as our clients’ needs evolve.
Ayco partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce providing both financial services to executives and financial wellness to all other employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees’ financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning, insurance and tax preparation

You will:
- Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products
- Develop, plan for, and lead team members to build clearly defined software functionality aligned with identified business objectives
- Lead and mentor junior members of the team
- Follow and establish standard software development guidelines and best practices
- Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
- Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
- Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the team's Agile process
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Java or other relevant Object Oriented development language
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience building transactional systems and understanding of software architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members, product owners, and executive level stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git)
- An understanding of common application architecture design patterns
- Experience working in an Agile environment
