Software Engineer

Our mission: Miaplaza, Inc. is dedicated to delivering innovative educational experiences that drive our mission of empowering children by providing them with exceptional learning experiences that fuel their personal growth and inspire them to make the world a better place. We are seeking talented Software Engineers who are passionate about using technology to shape the future of learning. Miaplaza's main K-8 curriculum platform is Miacademy (miacademy.co), and the high school platform is MiaPrep (miaprep.com).

Our team includes winners of international programming competitions as well as accomplished mathematicians. At Miaplaza, Software Engineers must have a proven track record of success. Examples of past success include substantial contributions to open-source projects, independently developing successful products, and excelling in software competitions.

Although this is a fully remote position and you have the flexibility to work from anywhere, it's essential to have significant overlap with standard working hours in Europe, as most of our engineers are based there. To ensure effective collaboration, you should be available to work between 11 AM EST (or earlier) and 1 PM EST several days out of the week. Outside of this core overlap period, you have complete flexibility in determining your work schedule.

• C#/.NET/.NET Core, 1+ years (a background in Java also works)

• Vue.js (or similar reactive frameworks)

• TypeScript

• ORM (e.g., Entity Framework (Core))
